Women prefer dogs over husband.

Hey, don't accuse me! I am also a woman but I definitely don't prefer dogs over anything.
I don't pet any animals but only my husband and son.

I happen to read about the subject in Doggie News website. Of course this is a very old story dear. It is dated as back as July 2006. But I am not to be blamed for reading it late.

The result of the poll conducted by dogcatradio.com summarizes thus:
"Of the 103,900 votes cast in a period of seven days, an overwhelming 78% voted for a furry rather than a hairy companion.".

And you say that dog is the man's best friend? Re-phrase it as "woman's best friend" buddy. That is more fitting.

Alexa fumbles. Websites' rank in shambles.

Here is one more story of rocking a smooth sailing boat. Alexa wanted to revamp their web site ranking logic and made some necessary changes to their algorithm.

Hmm.. obviously alphabets and numeric arranged illogically (smile) decided to behave oddly or not on the expected ways of the programmer.

It is reported that millions of web sites were hit hard by dropping their existing traffic rank awarded by Alexa.com

Equally bewildering aspect is some web sites were in for a pleasant surprise when they noticed their traffic rank go up.

Well, I am a small time blogger (but a full time one though) (smile) and I never really bother about Alexa rank.

Sometimes we do feel relieved at our ignorance-isn't it?

The house with 3200 windows.

The legendary house on the rock is among the strange places to visit in the U.S. It is located in Spring Green, Wisconsin.

The house is said to have 3264 windows. Then imagine how many rooms are in that house on top of a 60 foot rock! I was surprised to read that the house only has 14 huge rooms.

It is built by Alex Jordan in the 1940s. He used it as his gate away place. In 1961 this was turned into a museum and opened to public.

Many weird things surround the house and inside the house. The house itself has to be navigated through dark halls that are feebly lit by Tiffany lamps.

The name of the rooms sound ominous to me.

The Carousel Room is filled mystic carousel beasts that are half men and half animals.
There are many mannequin angels hang from the walls and rotate overhead. Then there is the Infinity room, Organ Room, Cannon room, Doll room and the Circus room.
