It is located in Devon, England. It is a coastal village actually.According to Wikipedia, the name comes from the title of Charles Kingsley's novel Westward Ho! (1855). The exclamation mark is an intentional part of the village's name.

How to hold calls while driving?

This post was made more than a year ago. I thought it needs another exposure considering the recent spate of related car accidents due to excessive use of mobile phones while driving.

At least there is one car accident everyday is reported because of suing mobile phone while driving. Taking the hands off the driving wheel alone is not the cause of the accident. The main reason for accidents is attributed to your diversion of attention.

There is a solution to this problem. A new technology is discovered that requests that mobile network service provider to hold the call to the receiver and informs the caller that the person he is calling is driving a vehicle.

"Aegis Mobility, a Canadian software company, announced Monday that it has developed software called Drive Assist that will detect whether a cellphone is moving at car speeds. When that happens, the software will alert the cellular network, telling it to hold calls and text messages until the drive is over. "

Subscribers to this facility may have to pay up to $20 extra per month.
