Attention mothers! Remotely monitor your baby.

The device here has three components.
* The base station
* One large wristband
* One small wristband

This device is not for any space station but for all just born mothers.

The large wristband is worn by the mother and the small one is slipped onto the wrist of the baby.

The base station intimates the mother, the baby's sounds, movements and even temperature.

The mother, through her wrist band can speak to her baby and also can play music to the baby.

What an innovation! Do you foresee an increaser in world population?

Who killed the dinosaurs?

Even after millions of years, the dinosaurs continue to haunt the human beings. I wonder what man would have done to it if they are still roaming around the globe.

If one goes by the laws of nature, evolution obliterated the dinosaurs. But a new study clearly reveals that a giant asteroid wiped out the dinosaurs 65 million years ago.

This space rock was of the size of the ‘Isle of Wight’ Imagine the impact when it slammed into the earth.

Now, more theories:
Last year in a research paper published in India suggested that the dinosaur extinction was caused by huge volcanic eruptions in India that poisoned the atmosphere with sulphur dioxide - not the asteroid.

The inventor of the light bulb was afraid of dark.

Can you believe this?

The inventor of the light bulb was afraid of the dark! Yes, I am speaking about the great Edison. Do you call it as the Dark Side of someone?

More interesting facts about Edison to whom the world today is indebted for ever. But for his light, we will be still in dark.

  • He first spoke only when he was four!
  • His favorite word was “WHY”. For this attitude of his, he was chucked out of his school branding him as a mentally disordered child.
  • He first published his own newspaper when was only 12.
  • He became partially deaf because a train conductor hit him on head. Many believe this incident as a blessing in disguise because he had lesser distractions that made him concentrate on his bizarre experiments.
Yes, he confessed once that he was afraid of dark. And ironically, when he died in 1931, all the lights were on in his home.

His famous quote: "I have not failed. I've just found 10, 000 ways that won't work."

Panties made from Banana.

So, we are almost going back to the first days of civilization when men and women became conscious of their physical body and started covering it with leaves and wood bark.

That is what came to mind when I read in The Star that an Aussie company has launched underwear made from banana-banana fiber to be more accurate. Banana fiber is mixed with cotton to make the light weight panties that won't smell of banana!

If such raw material is used that is available in plenty and free of cost (well, almost free), then, the cost of the underwear should be dirt cheap!
