My son who is now living in Norway emailed me an article that he read online. It is about inflatable snowshoes that is essential for snow adventurers and rescue teams.
We often come across news about people who get stranded in deep snow. In addition, some air crafts have a deep affinity for remote snow covered areas to crash making the life difficult for the rescue operators.
The inflatable snowshoes would get stranded people snow out. I found it difficult to understand how it works. Inflation can also be done with your mouth. A pair of inflatable snowshoes may cost around $180
I foresee news that reads: " Missing snow mountain hiker rescued easily".

An alien body found in Siberia.
The Yahoo! news about a dead alien found in Russia attracted me. I clicked on and saw a video of the alien body lying on the snow field. The sight was disgusting and terrible. I don't understand why alien sightings and UFO are reported more in Siberia!
Nevertheless, this dead alien body seems to be true to me. I am a believer of the existence of human beings in other parts of the cosmos. When we can land on the Moon and Mars, why can't human beings from various other planets land on the Earth?
I expect more of such sightings to be reported in the coming days.
Watch this video of the dead alien.

Cluster Balloon flying is beautifully colorful.

It looks definitely different from the one we have all seen in movies-the single hot air balloon where a small enclosure is attached in which the pilot can stand.
This is called cluster balloon flying that involves quite a bit of work. A team of 15 people are required to inflate about 20 balloons of different sizes and assemble the cluster, harness all the strings to the pilot etc.
I read a lengthy article on cluster balloon flying that explained step-by-step all the stages of cluster balloon flying from inflating the balloons till the landing of the pilot after enjoying a solo flight in the wilderness of the sky.

A device that would save lakhs of Indian babies.

Thousands of Indian babies that are mostly born in village homes as prematured and under weight have high mortality rate as they have no access to the life saving incubator.
In an urgent effort to save lakhs of such unfortunate Indian babies that die within one month of their life, four graduates from Stanford University have invented a baby bag (see image) that would fill in he needs of a traditional incubator but at the same time, would cost less than 1% of it.
I have inserted a video clip of Jane Chen, one of the inventors of the Baby Wrap talking to the media.
The two other names of the inventor team sound very much Indian; they are Dr. Rahul Panicker, and Naganand Murty while the fourth inventor's name is Linus Liang.
Indian doctors, Indian mothers, India based social activists and women's movement leaders and members should collectively say thanks to the 4 inventors of this life saving device that they call as "Warm Embrace".

He told me that if he is lucky, he may buy a bowl of a soup made of a bird's nest!
I instantly cried out loud, "What? Bird's nest soup"? What is this. How anyone cane make soup from a bird's nest?
My son told me that he heard about from a Chinese colleague. The bird in question is Cave Swifts belonging to the family of Swift builds its nest using its saliva! And this saliva is said to contain highly nutritive substances.
Man! Don't you have anything better to do than analysing a bird's saliva?
The Chinese call this soup as the “Caviar of the East”. In Hong Kong a bowl costs up to $30.

Japan's Dansuke watermelon costs $6000.
Watermelons have already appeared all over Madras. I love them-those red watermelons that are fiber rich and a fantastic source for naturally sweetened water.
These watermelons are very cheap considering its valuable content.
There is a watermelon in Japan called Dansuke. This Dansule watermelon costs $6000! Yes, just one fruit costs that much and it weighs much less than the watermelons we know.
This Dansuke watermelon is grown only in Japan. I read that only a very few fruits are available every year. My husband's friend whose son is working Japan gave this news to his mother.
No, he had not tasted this black wonder fruit because of its price tag.
