Listen to Didgeridoo-aborignal musical instrument.

This is it-the Didgeridoo, a rather large musical instrument which cannot be completely held on your hand. Its length demands it to be partially placed on the earth before the player.

The didgeridoo is made from eucalyptus trees and of course from bamboo too. At the mouth end, Beeswax is applied around.

Didgeridoo Sound Therapy

You guessed it right! It is a wind pipe musical instrument. The sound it produces heals the listeners of several ailments. It is a development at a later stage.

Joseph Carringer is a famous didgeridoo player. I have listened to some of his didgeridoo music. I am quite captivated by it. Yes, the sound did have a calming effect on me.

Joseph is sought after many who approach him to balance their chakras through didgeridoo vibration. Other benefits of Didgeridoo sound are:
* Inducing meditative or relaxed states
* Chakra clearing
* Vibrational "sound" massage
* Curing emotional stress

Grow plants without soil!

Can you visualize a fully grown plant without soil underneath? It is not magic mate though it would appear to be.

Hydroponics is the technology that makes it possible to grow terrestrial plants such as onion and radish without soil! These plants are grown only in water that is sufficiently infused with essential nutrients for the plants to absorb and grow.

How hydroponics works:
Plants imbibe nutrients for its growth from the soil in which the necessary minerals are available. These water soluble minerals are then absorbed by the roots of the plants. Through Hydroponics, the essential minerals are made available in the water itself.

Hydroponics is also called as "Solution Culture".

Here is a NASA image of Hydroponics in action:

What Hummus can do for you?

If you take the words of neurologists seriously, (there is no reason why you would not) then, you (I too) should only certain foods that contain the following substances:
• Dopamine
• Norepinephrine
• Serotonin

I know this sound ominous and also throw no meaning. Let me quote neurologist Dr Rajesh Kumar from New Delhi.

"The brain communicates by chemical substances passed from one nerve cell to the next. These chemicals, called neurotransmitters, are made in the brain from the food we eat.”

The above three are great neurotransmitters but unfortunately not all that we eat contribute to our mental health.

You must know that Dopamine and nor epinephrine are called alertness chemicals that help us think and react fast. Of course we all know that Serotonin is a calming chemical to dissipate stress and tension.

If all these make sense to you, then, your next question would, which is the best food for mentally alert and at the same time tension free life.

My answer is Hummus, an Arabic food dip. Look up at Wikipedia for more information. The image below of Hummus with pine nuts and olive oil is reproduced from there only.

Greatest sporting gesture by Andrew Flintoff.

This is no ordinary picture dear, but really special one showing exemplary sporting gesture displayed by Andrew Flintoff.

Here, he is seen consoling a very dejected Brett Lee after Australia lost the Ashes to its arch rival England on August 7, 2005 after 19 years.

The reason for Lee's heartbreak was understandable as he and Kasprowicz nearly won the test but fell short of just three runs.

Flintoff extricated away from his celebrating team mates and ran towards Brett Lee to offer a few words consolation. This sporting act would remain etched in the history of cricket forever.

When asked exactly what Flintoff said in their embrace, Lee said: "Something like 'bad luck mate, we tried very hard to get you out but we didn't think it would come down to the last two or three runs but I will see you inside for a beer after'.
