The frog and the gold.

There is a proverb in Tamil.

"When the well was being dug, a demon appeared from the earth".

This proverb came to my mind when I read a story in Yahoo about a rare but beautiful frog(see below) that was discovered during an excavation for bauxite, the raw material used to make aluminum.




This frog has fluorescent purple markings on it's back.
