India, England, Australia and South Africa will each send two teams to participate in the new Twenty20 Champions league launched by England and Wales Cricket Board.
The grand cricket extravaganza will be held during September or October this year either in India or in the Middle East, preferably in Sharjah.
From India, the two teams that are invited are Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings. The tournament will be played for only 10 days (thank you organizers) and the winning team will get $5 million. Yes, you read it right! It is $5 million.

Roz Savage's rowing feats.
Yahoo reported "Roz Savage" as one among the most searched term today.
The word "Savage" in the name was intriguing to me and so I paid her a visit in the internet.
As usual, I bypassed all the search results and opened the dependable Wikipedia.org.
Rosalind (Roz) Savage is a British amateur rower and runner. On March 14, 2006 she completed the first leg by finishing the Atlantic Rowing Race as the only sole female competitor, taking 103 day to complete the crossing. This she did unsupported, despite breaking all four of her oars and having to row with patched-up oars for more than half the race.
Man, what a determination.
If you want to know about her feats in detail, click on the link above.

Blue colored moon.
Yes, a blue colored moon and not the proverbial 'Blue Moon'.
Monty Panesar, the English bowler is a fan of Sachin Tendulkar. In the second cricket test match, he took the wicket of his idol. He managed to procure that ball later and asked Sachin to sign his autograph on it.
Sachin wrote, " There was once a moon in blue color" and signed it. Monty did not understand. Sachin replied that just for fun, he wrote like that instead of just signing.

The hatred of Micheal Atherton.
The issue of beamer by Sreesanth during the second test match between India and England is settled when Sreesanth instantly apologised.
The ICC, the match referee accepted Sreesanth's apology and closed the matter. But after a week of that incident, former England captain Michael Atherton wants Sreesanth to be banned for the third test.
His argument is childish and hateful. He says how we do know that the apology is sincere. This is the most ridiculous argument by an English sportsman. He says that Sreesanth's action is cowardice.
If it is so, aren't the England side too when they placed jelly beans. But I must appreciate their action-it was very innovative indeed.
Disappointed by the match referee's judgment and penalty for Sreesanth, Atherton now goads Dravid to take punitive actions against Sreesanth.
Oh, my God, this man is full of hatred.

Steroids in vitamins?

Nobody questions a vitamin tablet. We all take it for granted.
So did Guillermo Coria. He was a rising professional tennis player and was ranking at #3 in 2001.
Misfortune met him in a weird way. The vitamin tablets he consumed contained steroid when his urine tested positive, he career was shattered. And he was only 19. Truly a gross injustice was done unto him.
He is now suing the pharmaceutical company that supplied those vitamin tablets and demanding $10M compensation.
Universal Nutrition has admitted in court that it made steroid-containing products and multivitamins.
